ACT’s sizeable resources, experience and skills are professionally managed by a team of seasoned engineers, internationally certified ‘BGAS’ & ‘ NACE’ coating inspectors and supervisors, who together have a combined experience of over 300 years of in the field of corrosion prevention and protection of steel as well as concrete structures.
Each location is headed by Operations Manager who manages a team of professionals including Painting Inspectors, QA/QC Engineers, HSE personnel, and qualified supervisors. All operations are supported from head office by a team of Finance, Purchase HR & IT Experts.
ACT’s dedicated planning and estimation team ensures projects are planned, implemented and delivered successfully on time and efficiently.

Samir Anton Qubrosi
Chairman & Managing Director
Mr Samir Anton Qubrosi can certainly be deemed as a connoisseur, specialized in the field of Anti corrosion, having over three decades of vast experience in the Arabian Gulf alone.
After completing his Engineering studies from UK, Mr. Qubrosi started his career in Gulf with HBK Power Cleaning, Qatar and later was deputed to Qatar Fertilizer Company. He has gained an extensive knowledge in this field and has worked closely with many government bodies/public and private companies for major developments in Qatar. Due to the rapid growth in Oil & Gas Sector and growing business opportunities during that time, Mr. Qubrosi spread his wings to Dubai and established his own venture A.C.T in the year 1988. Starting from a small set of crew, he has successfully built and strengthened his company throughout the years through his hardwork, creativity, sharp business skills and admirable management style.
His strong business acumen and varied interests led him to establish many other successful ventures in Oil & Gas support services, Fashion retail, Marine sports, Lifestyle and restaurants.
As his network of links and alliances grew so did his local and regional interests and so he formed Spadamco Holdings to better manage the group’s internal affairs & long-term strategy. This provided the companies with dedicated operational support.
Khalil Anton Qubrosi

35 years of experience in the industry. Since last 15 years working for ACT. He is exclusively managing our Jebel Ali operations that include building of new rigs and refurbishment.
Emmanuel Gonsalves
General Manager
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
35 years of experience in the industry. Over 17 years experience in fabrication and installation of piping, tanks and vessels. Has worked with prestigious companies like ISRO, EIL and ARTSON ENGINEERING. Working with ACT for the last 17 years, involving blasting and painting to oil drilling rigs. Has successfully managed blasting and painting projects on more than 200 rigs so far.
Fernando A D R Batista
Deputy General Manager ( Operations )
FROSIO Level III certified
25 years of rich experience in the field of Surface treatment and corrosion control. Mr. Batista also has an extensive experience in multiple Projects’ Management with the best industrial methodologies & practices. Mr. Batista has joined ACT from Drydocks World, Dubai.

30 years of experience in the industry at different management levels. Since last 3 years working for ACT. Has worked previously with reputed companies like Cohen Coatings, RJ Southey, Reef Industrial Painters, Coastal Coatings & Scaffolding and Corropro Industries Managed projects of rigs like Aban VII, MIS Rig 105 & 107, Rig Al Ghallan , Rig Scorpion Courageous etc.
Laurentiu Nicolae Ionita

Ethirajan Sathyamoorthy

Graduate in Science. Diploma holder in Industrial Safety and Fire & Safety Management, Nebosh IGC Level -3
Twelve years of work experience in HSE (construction, petrochemical, power and maintenance industries) in India, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, with prestigious multinational groups.
Nikhil Lakhiani
QA/QC Manager
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, is certified in FROSIO Level III, NACE level II, Paints & Coatings Inspection from NACE and has a Diploma in Inspection of Corrosion Protective Coatings from NIT, Norway
Ten years of work experience in the Coating Industry (marine, protective, oil & gas & offshore segments, insulation, passive fireproofing, thermal spray aluminum ,etc) as a Coating Inspector and manager in India Singapore, Dubai, Bahrain, China, Sri-Lanka and Abu Dhabi with well known companies in the insustry.
