ACT has been awarded the ISO 14000 HSE certification and is committed to maintain high standards in Health, Safety and Environment throughout the organization. For every job a team of experts identify all health and safety risks and reduce them to a minimum. Individual targets are set each year to benchmark the HSE performance across the organization. ACT ensures that all employees are responsible and accountable for HSE performance. We conduct periodic Safety inspections and Safety audits on site and ensure that HSE Management Systems are followed by our HSE department. HSE Officers are committed to ensure that all Safety rules are in place for the organization as well as work sites. ACT strongly believes that HSE is an integral part of every individual employee of the organization and takes pride in the excellent HSE performance of the organization.
Environmental Management Policy
Applied Corrosion Technology Co LLC deals with Anti corrosion services, abrasive/hydro blasting and marine protective coatings. The company uses raw materials such as abrasives, chemicals including paints and thinners. We utilize mechanical equipments with electrical and pneumatic energy in the process. It is the prime aim of the company to keep the working environment clean and free from pollution.
We have identified significant impacts of our activities affecting environment(land, air, water, and natural resources). Consequently, we have developed objectives and targets to reduce such impacts and have included the same in the Environment Management Program. We accomplish this by the following:
- Continuously improving our business performance and conducting operations in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Abiding all legal aspects including national and international regulations for the protection of environment and natural resources at the work sites
- Identifying all the environment impacts and implementing remedial measures to reduce the harm.
All employees including the top management in the organization are equally committed and responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
This policy is used as a framework for setting EMS objectives and shall be communicated to all stakeholders as well as to the public.
