ACT has been awarded the ISO 14000 HSE certification and is committed to maintain high standards in Health, Safety and Environment throughout the organization. For every job a team of experts identify all health and safety risks and reduce them to a minimum. Individual targets are set each year to benchmark the HSE performance across the organization. ACT ensures that all employees are responsible and accountable for HSE performance. We conduct periodic Safety inspections and Safety audits on site and ensure that HSE Management Systems are followed by our HSE department. HSE Officers are committed to ensure that all Safety rules are in place for the organization as well as work sites. ACT strongly believes that HSE is an integral part of every individual employee of the organization and takes pride in the excellent HSE performance of the organization.
Quality & Environmental Management Policy
Applied Corrosion Technology Co LLC,(ACT) a leader in Anti corrosion services, Abrasive/ Hydro blasting and marine protective coatings, uses raw materials such as abrasives, chemicals including paints & thinners. We utilize electrical and pneumatic energy in the process and mechanical equipment such as blasting pots, Spray Machines and air compressors.
We strive to achieve customer satisfaction in every project or job that we undertake.
ACT is committed to complete all the projects or jobs as per agreed schedule within the budget while achieving the specifications and contract requirements with the involvement of our competent staff and skilled operators.
It is the prime aim of ACT to keep the working environment clean and free from pollution through the successful implementation of an Integrated Management System for QE that complies with the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 standards. We will ensure that our objectives are achieved through the QEIMS.
We have identified the requirements of services as per our customer requirements and the significant impacts of our activities affecting environment (land, air, water, and natural resources). We have developed and established quality objectives and measurable functional objectives that are consistent with this policy. We have also established environmental objectives and targets to reduce the environment impacts and included the same in the Environment Management Program. This policy is used as a frame work for setting Quality Objectives and Environmental Objectives.
ACT is committed to comply with customer requirements and accepted environmental practices, environmental management principles, applicable legal and other requirements and to prevent pollution to air, soil and water arising out of the activities at work sites, and conserve the natural resources in the following areas:
Hazardous material reduction.
Optimize utilization of water, electrical energy, oil, and other natural resources.
Implementing suggestions towards waste minimization – reduce, reuse and recycle.
Our focus will be towards safeguarding our employees, visitors, contractors and members of the public, who may be affected by our activities at project sites.
All employees including the top management in the organization are equally committed to demonstrate continual improvement of our integrated management system in the areas of quality and environment by providing adequate information, instruction, training and supervision as appropriate and are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
This integrated QE policy is communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of the organization and available to public, which will be reviewed for its continuing suitability.
